For the architectural facelift and interior design of this intimate four-villa boutique hotel, I collaborated with Melbourne-based Kate Challis Interiors—a truly rewarding partnership. Together, we redefined the flow of the spaces, enhancing unity and balance while breathing new light and openness into the existing architecture.
We introduced architectural details such as wall niches and window seats, and designed elegant new kitchens and bathrooms. Outdoor seating areas and built-in sofas extend the living experience beyond the walls, creating a natural flow between interior and exterior.
The interiors, guided by the client’s brief, embrace a palette of whites and silver accents—calm, fresh, and refined. For the striking custom lighting, we collaborated with Bali-based lighting company Delighting, whose sculptural fixtures brought depth and atmosphere to the spaces.
This beautiful boutique resort went on to win the 2017 World Luxury Hotel Award.
