“Create me a stunning home where I can entertain all my friends, with some fun features.”
That was the brief for this turn-key villa, which I designed and developed from start to finish for a client who wanted his dream Bali retreat without the hassle of being involved in the process.

The result is a majestic two-bedroom villa with uninterrupted views of the mountains and sunset, complete with playful touches like a jungle bath set in a pond and an al-fresco sleeping bale by the pool.
The living room opens to the upstairs loft, showcasing the soaring thatched roof. By linking the loft to the main living area, I created both grandeur and intimacy, ensuring a natural flow throughout. The house opens fully to its surroundings, with multiple spaces to lounge, gather, and unwind—swing chairs on the terrace, a sunken pond-side bath for summer evenings, and a poolside bale that transforms from daybed to romantic outdoor bedroom.

Each bedroom carries its own mood: the poolside suite features a striking gold Buddha pendant custom-designed by Delighting, while the expansive loft embraces darker wood tones with silver accents and a Vishnu standing lamp. Crisp whites soften the spaces, bringing a balance of romance and calm.

The result is an intimate yet luxurious retreat—perfect for joyful gatherings. A touch of sparkle enriches the atmosphere, while an overall sense of understated luxury keeps it grounded and serene.
