A sweet little house surrounded by water, designed as a serene couple’s retreat and delivered as a full turn-key project. With carte blanche for the design, every detail was carefully considered. Because the compact plot offered little in the way of views, I created a lush lotus pond with dramatic lighting around the living area and bedroom—transforming the lack of vista into a captivating water feature that defines the home.

Folding doors open onto a small wooden deck above the pond, inviting breezes to flow through. On the opposite side, a modern concrete-roofed veranda houses the outdoor kitchen—tropical living at its best while making the most of limited space. The final touch is a crisp white bathroom with a circular open-air shower and an illuminated shower panel, adding a sense of indulgence to this compact yet soulful hideaway.
